Run for the Animals - Bridgeton

Run for the Animals is a family-friendly event designed to support the Cohanzick Zoo, beginning and ending at the zoo's location in Bridgeton, NJ. Participants can park at Bridgeton High School with easy walking access to the start line. As New Jersey’s first zoo, establishing itself in 1934, the Cohanzick Zoo hosts nearly 100 animals from over 45 species across its 15-acre site within Bridgeton's large park. This picturesque and quaint zoo houses notable residents like Holly, an Asiatic black bear. The event offers free race shirts to early registrants and awards the top male and female finishers. It proceeds regardless of weather conditions.
