NPSWC March for Sickle Cell 5K Walk/Run

The Neuse Pamlico Sound Women’s Coalition, a nonprofit of professional women, hosts the annual Run/Walk for Sickle Cell as a hybrid event, combining in-person and virtual participation. This meaningful event sheds light on sickle cell disease, a serious blood disorder impacting millions globally, including thousands in North Carolina. Funds raised will support local efforts in treatment and assistance for those affected. Participants will also have opportunities to win door prizes. The community is encouraged to participate and work together in making a significant impact on the lives of individuals battling sickle cell disease.
