21 km Massimo Zucchi grinded past more than 1462 runners to win in 01:13:04, followed by Mattia Bertocchi who finished with a time of 01:13:26. Rounding out the top three was Jean-Pierre Theytaz with a time of 01:14:59. In the women’s race, Valeria Bellan scored victory with a time of 01:27:22 . Silvia Gavarretti earned runner-up honours with a time of 01:28:47. Finishing third was Amelia Girelli (01:30:38). Results 2016: Mezza di Monza

One week after the roaring sound of the Formula One cars has quit Monza. Runners take control of the racing tracks to take part in the “Mezza di Monza”. Runners can run 30 km, 21 km, 10 km or 5 km. The most popular races are the longer ones. Here are the results. Formula 21 km Ahmed El Mazoury took top honors by finishing the race in 01:07:51. Coming in second was Andrea Feltrin (01:12:53). Gianluca Catalano  (01:13:20) made notched third place. In the women’s race, Eliana Patelli took top spot in 01:20:06 . Fiseha Abera Tarikua earned runner-up honors with a time of 01:23:17. Chiara Rossi got the third place in 01:23:43.
