New For 2024 - Road Bike Category – You can choose to race either TT Bike or Road Bike for all of the categories.
Road Bike Definition - A road bike can possess drop or straight handlebars; no tri-bars, clip-on bars or Spinaci bars are allowed; no disc wheels; both front & rear wheels must have at least 12 spokes each; the maximum rim depth allowed is 90mm.  Note: the spirit of this new Road Bike category is to encourage more participation in MATTS events by creating a more even playing field for racers who don’t have a TT bike. In general, if your bike would be eligible for a road race or a criterium, it would qualify for the Road Bike category.  No “TT” Helmets.

DIRECTIONS Splash Valley Aquatic Park, 1850 River Rd., Kankakee, IL
From North or South Interstate 57 to Exit 308 – US 45/52 to Kankakee. At top of ramp turn left (North) onto US 45/52 and go to River Road. Turn right (East) onto River Road; go to Splash Valley Aquatic Park. From East or West: IL 17 to Kankakee. Turn South onto US-45/52 S Washington Ave, follow US45/52 to River Road, turn left (East) onto River Road go to Splash Valley Aquatic Park.
Splash Valley Aquatic Park: No alcohol, beer, wine or illegal substances, violators are not allowed to participate.
We are Guests. Treat this area as your home, backyard and Town.
Pit toilets open at Park and Baseball Park.

Please understand that the course is open to traffic so be careful particularly at intersections.  Ride to the right side of the road.
We highly recommend using a rear red blinking light.
Please respect our host community by leaving the site cleaner than when you arrived, keeping noise to a minimum and using Porta Potties.
