Lunartic 5K Run/Walk

The Lunartic run/walk is a nighttime event taking place during a full moon, following Smithville Lake's scenic trails. Participants are encouraged to bring a headlamp or flashlight due to low visibility. The run starts at the Smoke and Davey trailhead and ends at Sailboat Cove, with shuttle transportation provided. Options to participate include running individually or forming teams. The entry fee includes a park entry pass, supporting the Smithville High School cross country team. No refunds are given for weather-related or other cancellations. Participants can also make additional donations to support the team.
