Live/in-person is your typical run/walk event, where you gather in person to check-in, line up at the start line, run the race with others, and cross the finish line. There are festivities, awards for top finishers, music and entertainment.Race shirt and packet pickup will be held prior to race day. You may pick up your own packet as well as packets for a whole team/family/etc. You may also pick up your items on race day beginning at 9:00 a.m. We strongly encourage you to pickup packets IN ADVANCE. Race Bib. If you are running competitively in the 6k in-person, make sure your bib has a timing chip inside. The bib should be thicker and firmer. If you are walking the 6k or running/walking the 1 mile, your bib should NOT have a timing chip inside. It will be thin and flimsy, similar to water resistant paper.Results. Results will be posted and announced by event staff after the conclusion of the race, in person. Awards will be given to top finishers among the in-person participants only, in various categories.Allow ample time to park and walk to the Performance Lawn of the World's Fair Park, and extra time if you need to register or pick up a packet before the race. Plan to be at the Performance Lawn no later than 10am, 1 hour before the race begins.Parking is available in any city public parking garage; public garages are free on weekends.Finisher Certificate (optional). For in-person and virtual participants. Upon entering your time / completion status (or after the race has concluded), you will have access to a personalized finisher certificate. Virtual means you register for the event as you usually would, you run/walk wherever and whenever you like, then upload your results until you reach your goal distance. You don't have to run the whole distance at once. You may run anytime during the week of the event, for your convenience, and we ask that you truthfully record your final time when reporting your virtual results. Reporting time is optional. (For reporting results, you must have a bib number, and you must NOT select "anonymous" for the participant lookup feature. You will see this when you register. You will receive a bib number after registering.)Results. You have until the evening of March 17, at 11:59pm to post your results. Results entry will close at that point.
