Lion’s Pride Park 5K Fun Run and Walk

Welcome to the 2nd annual Lion’s Pride Park 5K Fun Run and Walk! 

This event will help raise funds for the Grove at Lions Pride Park!  The Grove will offer inter-generational experiences set in scenic beauty, including playing life-size games, playing large-scale, in-tune musical instruments, and enjoying picnics that will build lasting family memories. Seating areas will incorporate benches, Adirondack chairs, hammocks, and tables that will accommodate people with various physical needs.

Participants will be able to create their own fundraising page for donations towards the various musical instruments and games that will be included in the park. The participant with the most donations will be honored and awarded! Fulton Bank has generously agreed to match ALL donations up to $10,000. 

The Lions Club and Warrington Township are partnering with the Bryn Mawr Racing Company to bring Warrington this annual event, bringing together area residents for a healthy activity, and raising funds for a good cause.  It’s also our hope that you will want to be a part of the day!

Below are Race Day Details:

The start and finish is at the same location.  The 5K runners will start and exit right onto Bradley road to the barricade, come back to run a loop in the park.  Exiting the park to your left, towards the neighborhood;  A water station is provided before entering the neighborhood. One loop through the neighborhood then head left back to the barricade on Bradley Road, coming back and finish. The 1 mile walkers will walk the loop in the park.

Packet Pick Up: Race Packets and check-in will be Saturday morning, before the race starting at 6:30am - race start.  Please come to the pavilion closest to the Lions Pride Park Construction Zone.

Warm-up Sponsor will lead in stretches starting at 8am.

Parking for the 5K: The Upper Nike parking lot will be available for parking.

Raffles: Our sponsors have donated items to be raffled off.  All racers/walkers will receive 2 raffle tickets in their packets. Additional tickets will be available for purchase (cash only) the morning of the race. $1 - 1 ticket, $10 - 11 tickets, and $20 for an arms length. (Must be present to claim raffle winnings)

Awards: Awards will begin at 9:25am. Medals will be given out to the below: Top Female and Top Male Finisher
Top 3 in each age group category (male and female): 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Weather: The race is rain or shine. Currently there is no rain in the forecast. Please dress accordingly.
