Kiwanis of Fort Oglethorpe Run for the Kids 5K

Join us for the Fort Oglethorpe Kiwanis Kannonball Run 5K and 1K Fun Run on September 23th 2023. All proceeds from the event will go to charities supporting kids in our community.

Please join us for the Second annual Fort Oglethorpe Kiwanis Kannonball Run 5k and 1k!

The 5K race will start at Gilbert-Stephenson Park in Fort Oglethorpe and will be mostly on the beautiful greenway!  We will have awesome awards for the overall winners as well as the top three in each age group.  Every finisher will get a medal! The race will start promptly at 8:00 a.m. and will be chip timed. There will be snacks for the participants to enjoy after the run, Awards ceremony and door prize drawings will take place after everyone finishes. Race headquarters will be at the big pavilion in the back of the park. All participants will get a free t-shirt.

Race day sign up will be available starting at 6:45 a.m. on race day. Please bring check or cash.

Race from your couch option! We have a virtual race for those that are unable to join us. Virtual participants will also get a t-shirt!
