About the event
Join the Louisville Trail Nuts for another club run installment of the Howler Series! This is the second of what we plan to be a 3 part series running trails and raising funds to donate to the parks on behalf of Louisville Trail Nuts. This year the Louisville Trail Nuts are partnering with Swag's Sport Shoes to bring product samples and vendors to each of the Howler Series events. The races will be donation based. Come join us in making a positive impact.
Runners will receive Howler Series drawstring bag (While Supplies Last) and a fun local trail race benefiting our parks and community.
For this run we will be meeting near Hogan's Fountain. The course will be the main 5 Mile Trail Loop we often jump on during Wednesday Night Group runs. Our goal for this series is to provide family friendly, donation based events raising money to clean up and plant trees/shrubs in the parks we love and use so often. As Cherokee is the Louisville Trail Nut's unofficial home base, we have selected to return for part two of the series here. Come join us in making a positive impact.
Awards for Overall Male / Female Winners. Of course results will be posted and there will be bragging rights for social media.
Cutoff Time is 2 hours from our 6:30 PM start time.

This event is CUPLESS. Please bring your own water bottle, hydration pack, or cup.
Course Description
The Start/Finish line will be near Hogan's Fountain. Heading to the right onto the trail following the main 5 Mile Trail Loop.

Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will be on-site near Hogan's Fountain prior to race start. Please plan to pick-up your race packet with enough time to allow for pinning your bib.
Parking--ARRIVE EARLY & CARPOOL
We ask that you plan to arrive early for parking. Carpool as much as possible. Parking is limited at Hogan’s Fountain. We want to be respectful of the parks so we are able to have many more great events in the future. Carpooling is preferred to make space for everyone planning to participate. If you are planning to run with a friend, we encourage carpooling.
Water/Snacks
This event is CUPLESS. Please bring your own water bottle, hydration pack, or cup. Bottled Water will be available in limited supply. Water and pre packaged snacks will be available post race.
