Hop Head Hundred

The Oregon Interscholastic Cycling League offers a thrilling opportunity for young athletes to immerse themselves in the outdoors with mountain biking events that promote participation, camaraderie, and well-being. As part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA), the Oregon MTB League invites middle and high school athletes to hone their skills and make lasting connections through high-quality mountain biking experiences.Beyond racing, the program includes trail maintenance, bike packing, and mountain biking skills clinics. The "Hop Head Hundred" fundraiser supports the league's mission, rallying over 500 athletes from fourteen teams across Oregon. This event invites cyclists to explore the stunning Willamette Valley, offering three distance options, supported aid stations, and a welcoming atmosphere with enthusiastic volunteers. Pedal through scenic routes, cross the iconic Buena Vista Ferry, and enjoy a post-ride "hoppy hour" with live music at the Independence Hotel.
