Gritventure! 3! - WV

Are you always ready to take on a challenge and crave an adventure? Then Gritventure! 3! is designed for athletes like you! This demanding 70-mile ride offers a variety of terrains including superb gravel, breathtaking views, secluded roads, steep climbs, exhilarating descents, and even tough singletrack. With over 7,000 feet of elevation gain, it's not for the faint-hearted.Starting from Wardensville, West Virginia, this ride is mostly unsupported, meaning no mechanical or SAG support is available. About 40 miles in, there's one store where you can restock if needed. To enhance the excitement, route details are only shared upon registration. Once you sign up, you'll receive an email with the start location and GPS map.

Suggested Equipment: While most bikes could tackle these routes, a cyclocross, gravel, or adventure bike with 32-40 mm tires is recommended for optimal performance. Ensure you have a wide range of gearing as some hills can be quite steep. A mountain bike is also a viable option.

Join us as we gather at 8:30, with the ride kicking off at 9:00. Whether you want to ride solo, with your group, or join one of our groups led by different ability levels, the choice is yours.
