We do ask that you PLEASE clean up after your pet. We recommend bringing camp chairs, rain gear, bug spray, sunscreen, etc. There will be a bathroom trailer as well as port-a-potties. We are still working on securing a shower trailer- more to come.
FOOD/DRINK
If you are camping on Friday, we will have a food truck onsite from 5-9pm and a limited supply of drinks. You are welcome to bring your own beverages. We will have coffee & light breakfast offerings on Saturday morning from 6am-9am before the ride. We will have food trucks onsite on Saturday from approximately 12pm-8pm. Registered participants will receive a voucher for a post-ride meal and a beer or N/A beverage. Non-participants will be able to purchase their own meals from food trucks. Outside food/drink is allowed. Grinder’s Switch Winery will be providing light snacks and free wine tasting at the winery on Sunday. We have also secured a food truck at the winery! Please let us know during registration if you will be joining us.
CAMPING/LODGING
Lodging: The Peaceful Hills Cottage and Cabin are also available to rent out for the weekend (minimum 2-night stay). The Cottage sleeps 6 people. The Cabin sleeps up to 10 people. One person will need to pay for the cabin or cottage. All lodging has climate control and full bathrooms. Tent/car camping: we have the entire grounds to ourselves for the weekend so you can camp wherever you’d like! Arrive early to get your best choice of a spot. Group campsites (a total of 30) are available to rent. Each site can fit 4 tents (some more) & some will allow a smaller RV/pop-up trailer and each of them have a designated picnic table and fire pit (see map below). They are a short walk with a slight climb from the main event area. RV camping: Some smaller RV's (van/pop-ups) will be allowed in the main event area and at the group campsites, however to help with space and logistics we will have a “RV Park” in nearby field for larger RV's and pull-behind trailers. It is a short walk or short bike ride to main event area. No hook-ups will be available - we will have port-a-potties available in field. We are working on arranging a shuttle to/from the event area. Looking to rent an RV? Visit our Camping/Lodging page for more details.
*Note: One person will have to reserve the RV/group campsite of choice and will be asked during registration how many people TOTAL will be at the campsite, and their names. (i.e. one person reserves a group campsite for $40 for 4 people ($10/person). If you have 5 people, you will just add $10.) We have included a link to a map of the entire campground below to provide an idea of where the group campsites are. We encourage everyone to bring your own camping gear and cleaning accessories.
SEE EVENT MAP HERE. (subject to change prior to event)
*Please note: we are unable to offer refunds after August 12, 2024.
ROUTES
If you’ve ridden in Hickman County you know that routes are subject to change based on the road conditions. We will not be revealing the exact routes until closer to the event. With whatever route you choose you can expect to encounter a variety of gravel and terrain – from well-groomed gravel to rutted out jeep trails; fast descents, inevitable creek crossings, and punch-you-in-the-gut climbs. Some of that chert will make you hurt, but the post-ride meal, beverages, Strava kudos and after-party will be worth it. More details on the routes will be shared soon.
REVIVAL STATIONS
Riders on the short route (except the 11 mile) can expect one fully-supported aid station and the medium routes can expect two fully-supported aid stations. The 100 mile will have three fully-supported stations. There will also be SAG support on all of the routes.
*IMPORTANT: This ride is self-navigated, and the route is mostly unmarked. All riders are asked to bring a GPS unit or whatever tools necessary to navigate the course. And we encourage you to RIDE WITH A BUDDY! As Gravel riding becomes more and more popular, it is important for riders to learn proper navigation skills to ride self-supported, especially in secluded areas where a GPS signal may or may not be available.
While cell phone signal has become increasingly better in Hickman County, if you are not using a navigation unit with GPS, we strongly recommend that you download the Ride with GPS app, create an account, save and download the routes BEFORE you get to the campground (just tap the dots to the right of the route name).
AWARDS/PRIZES
Gravel Revival was created as a way to bring the gravel community together. If you want to come out and race, you can do that. If you just want to come out and ride, we highly encourage that too! Cash Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place male/female finishers on the long routes. Other prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place male/female/youth finishers on the medium/shorter routes. We will reveal some of these prizes as we get closer to the event and they are finalized. We have also added some additional categories for youth and tandem riders. Additionally, all registered participants will be eligible to win some great door prizes from our Bike Retailers and Sponsors on Saturday evening!
VOLUNTEERS
We are truly not able to pull off this weekend-long festival without the help of volunteers so please consider helping out! Volunteers will receive free entry, extra swag, 1 free meal and drinks and a special shout-out! We will have volunteer opportunities available for those that want to help pitch in and still allow you to ride. Do you have friends/family members that want to join you but do not want to ride? They are welcome too and if they want to volunteer, even better! CLICK HERE to sign up to volunteer!
