Freedom 5K Run/Walk hosted by IUP SVO

Join us on April 22nd for the Student Veterans Organization Freedom 5K Run/Walk! This will take place along the beautifully scenic IUP College Lodge Trail. The trail is set on the 270 wooded acres of IUP's CO-OP park.

Tickets are $25 per registrant. Military/Veteran tickets are $20 per registrant. This fee includes a runner's t-shirt, number bib, water, snacks, and a spot in the race. In order to receive your free t-shirt, participants must register by April 9, 2023. Participants that register after April 9, 2023, will not qualify for a free t-shirt. Registration will be open until race day. Prizes will be provided to the top 3 runners!

Registration begins at 8:30am and the race will begin at 9:00am. Half of the proceeds aid IUP's Student Veterans Organization in carrying out their group's service-based initiatives and the other half will be donated to the Veteran's Place. Veterans Place's mission is to support veterans in their transition from homelessness to home, breaking the cycle of homeless, and help all Veterans who are at risk of becoming homeless to become active, productive members of society who contribute to their communities.
