About the event
Join the Wilmington Road Runners Club for the Firefly 5K. A three race series that will take place across New Hanover County this summer. All races will take place on the last Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm.
• June 26, Halyburton Park, 7:00 pm
• July 31, Hanover Pines Park, 7:00 pm
• August 28, Long Leaf Park, 7:00 pm (followed by a social at The Brewers Kettle)
There will be awards for the overall Men's and Women's winner of each race, and for the overall Men's and Women's winner of the three race series. Plus winners get a custom race t-shirt!
Participants who complete all three races will be entered into a drawing for free entries to the Seaside Shuffle 5K in October.
All three races are free to anyone who would like to participate. A $5 donation to the Wilmington Road Runners Scholarship Program is suggested.
