Cow Chip Classic Run

The Sauk Prairie Community Club's running and walking event coincides with the Wisconsin State Cow Chip Throw in Prairie du Sac. Participants traverse a scenic course that includes significant landmarks such as the Wisconsin River and "Heartbreak Hill." Timed with transponder chips, the event offers age-division awards, refreshments, and community proceeds. The competition begins near Marion Park, following routes designed for both runners and walkers. Post-race amenities include restrooms and showers. By joining, participants contribute to local causes while enjoying a festive and challenging endurance activity.
