Bridge Day 5K RUN

The Bridge Day 5K RUN offers a unique opportunity to run across the iconic New River Gorge Bridge. Sponsored by West Virginia University Institute of Technology, the event takes place entirely on the bridge, finishing in Fayetteville. Participation is capped at 500 runners, and the race is strictly running due to bridge closure regulations. The event celebrates fitness and community, supporting Active SWV's Kids Run Clubs & Community Captains initiatives. Racers earn finisher medals and awards in various age categories, from under 12 to 70+. Safety is prioritized, with a mandatory initial pace policy, ensuring a secure and well-organized experience for all participants.
