Black Squirrel Scurry Triathlon

The Black Squirrel Scurry is a collaborative triathlon event hosted by the City of Merrill Parks and Recreation Department and the Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce. Encompassing a multi-sport challenge, participants will paddle down the Prairie River, cycle through the scenic Lincoln County countryside, and run through the Merrill Area Rec Complex and State Park. Sponsored by Northwoods Veterans Post and Friends of the River Bend Trail, the triathlon welcomes solo competitors, tandems, and relay teams. Preparedness for weather conditions is emphasized, and safety measures will be in place. Awards recognize top performers in various categories.
