Bee Brave 5k Run/Walk

Bee Brave is a vibrant community dedicated to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Established over 17 years ago, it provides support through local events and storytelling, while celebrating triumphs over breast cancer. Since its partnership with the Van Andel Institute, Bee Brave has raised significant funds to support Dr. Matt Steensma's research in Grand Rapids. Uniquely, 100% of donations and event proceeds go directly to research, funded entirely by volunteer efforts and local business sponsors. Partnered with the Van Andel Institute Purple Community, Bee Brave offers resources for fundraising, ensuring every dollar supports biomedical research.
