9-11 Patriot Day Races

The Wabash Valley Road Runners Club will be holding a race on September 11, 2021, to remember those that lost their life in the terrorist attack that took place on 9/11/2001. The race is called the “9/11 Patriot Day Races”. Three separate races will take place that day. There will be a 9.11 mile race and a 9.11K race to remember the attack that took place on 9/11/2001. There will also be a 2.977 mile race to honor the 2977 Fire Fighters, Police, Emergency Personal and civilians who lost their lives that day.

The races will start at Meadows Shopping Center and run east on Ohio Boulevard to Deming Park. Runners and walkers will make their way through Deming Park and return to the Meadows Shopping Center. The 9.11K and 9.11 mile race will be 2 and 3 laps respectively.
