Join the Seashore Striders for a pre-festival run as we will host the 1st annual Tales & Ales 5k & 1 mile "boardwalk" walk to kick off the annual Tales & Ales Festival in Rehoboth Beach.  The festival will be from 11:00a - 4:00p from the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center located at 229 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE. 19971 and the 5k run will start & finish at the bandstand and boardwalk at the end of Rehoboth Avenue.

Come find out what everyone's barking about!  Sip on brews and other adult beverages, while shopping the Spring market place with over 60 local venders!  All proceeds are being donated to Grass Roots Rescue.   There is a $2.00 entry fee for the festival, but if you compete in the race- festival entry is FREE with your bib number.   For more festival information, Contact 302.249.7763 or 302.682.9113.

 

RACE DATE:  Saturday, March 4, 2023

 

 

RACE TIME:  9 am start. Registration opens 8:00 am at the bandstand on Rehoboth Avenue.

 

 

RACE LOCATION:  Bandstand on Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE. 19971

 

 

EARLY PICKUP:  Pick up your Race Bib & T-Shirt from 8 am - 8:50 am at the start on race morning

 

 

RACE ENTRY FEE:

$25 "EARLY BIRD" registration (till FEB 26th at midnight)$30 "RACE WEEK" registration (till MARCH 3rd at 10 pm)$35 "RACE DAY" registration from 8-8:50 at the Bandstand on Rehoboth Avenue

 

 

TO BENEFIT:. The SS will make a donation to Grassroots Rescue

RACE COURSE:. Out & back course from Rehoboth Avenue to Gordons Pond taking in the beautiful views from the Rehoboth Boardwalk.

RACE TIMING:  Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.

 

 

RACE AMENITIES: Short sleeve race shirts and light refreshments.

FREE ENTRY to the Tales & Ales with your RACE BIBFREE complimentary glass of wine after the race at the festival for race finishers

 

AWARDS:  Overall male and female, Masters, plus top 3 in 10 year age groups 13 under to 70 over. Top 3 male & female walkers
