Co-organized by Companhia Agrícola do Sanguinhal and Ganhardestak, and fully supported by the municipalities of Bombarral and Cadaval and Turismo do Centro, this event is an opportunity not to be missed. Take in the views of Quinta do Sanguinhal, Quinta de S. Francisco, and Quinta das Cerejeiras as you traverse the two available distances - K10+ and K25+. Whichever you choose, you are certain to have unparalleled access to the extraordinary wonders on offer in Portugal's Central Region.

Kurs-Highlights

LONG TRAIL – 25 km The Trail is 25 km long and starts at 9:00 am. Departure and arrival at Quinta do Sanguinhal – Bombarral. The time limit will be 3 hours and 45 minutes to finish. SHORT TRAIL/WALK - 10 km The Trail has a distance of 10 km, and starts at 9:10 am. Departure and arrival at Quinta do Sanguinhal – Bombarral. There will be no time limit to finish. You can run or walk on this distance.

It was a really well-organised event with a very generous kit; it even had two bottles of wine! The kit pickup was easy, the race itself was fun without being overly demanding, and the participants all brought a great amount of positivity to the event. For such a small-scale race it was surprisingly international.

It was a great distance for a first-time trail runner. A few climbs, but nothing too difficult. I suspect the 25km distance race was at another level. Maybe next year!
