Pumpkin Slayer 5k

Do you like the spirit of Halloween? Do you like going for a run or walk in the evening? Then come out for a spooky and fun time at the 4th Pumpkins layer 5k, presented by the Bay Area Runners Club.  The run/walk will begin at 6:30pm on Saturday October 19, 2024. It will be held on the paved rail trail across the street from the Coryell Fieldhouse located on 514 Morton St. in Bay city. Our creepy course will be winding through the eerie woods utilizing the Bay-zil trail heading into Frankenlust Township. It is an out and back course. We will celebrate with refreshments at the finish line as we hand out custom Age Group awards to runners/walkers.  Each registered racer will be given an award at the finish. A t-shirt will be included with registration(cutoff for t-shirt is 10/10). This is a family friendly event for a wonderful cause, COMMUNITY!  Support Bay county's local food pantry this year! All proceeds will go directly to Safe Harbor food pantry. BARC will give 100% of the funds to Safe Harbor. REGISTRATION INFO- $30 entry fee includes, race entry for run/walk, bib, t-shirt (if registered by October 10th), 

PACKET PICK-UP- packet pickup and race day registration will be from 5:30 to 6: 15 p.m. at the tent located at the Coryell baseball fields. 

Race day sign up will be available for $30 cash. Please be aware that no shirts will be available and awards may be on a first come, first signed up basis for race day entrants. Children 10 and under race for free with each registered adult. Just sign each child up on race day once you have picked up your bib.
