ItalyRunLA 5k

The Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles and the Little Italy Association of Los Angeles (LILAA) together with the City Council’s 15th District are proud to announce the Inaugural ItalyRunLA 5k presented by Enel X Way and Festa di Piazza in celebration of Festa della Repubblica, the Italian National Day. The run is only $35 for runners 18+, $30 for kids 13-17, and free for children under 12. All levels, from beginner to athlete are welcome. This is a family friendly event! Bring your stroller, skates, skateboard, walking shoes or whatever makes you comfortable. 

Race registration includes:Entry to the run + bib; Race day t-shirt; Race day metal; Bindi Gelato; Can of Stella Rosa Wine (only for 21+ participants); Slice of Buono’s pizza; Swag bag with promotional items

Additionally, each participant 13 and over will automatically be entered in our raffle for a chance to win one round trip plane ticket from Los Angeles to Rome, made possible by ITA Airways or 2 nights in two luxury hotels in Tuscany, offered by R Renaissance and Autograph Collection Hotels.

Right at the edge of the Port of Los Angeles, the race course travels along the iconic LA Waterfront in San Pedro, offering ocean views and a one of a kind race experience. 

Come for the race, stay for the Festa! The race will be followed by the Festa di Piazza. There will be a stage with live music, animation, food, drinks, vendors, and activities for kids for a unique Italian experience.

Little Italy Association of Los Angeles (LILAA): Little Italy of Los Angeles Association (LILAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to create a cultural hub for the Italian American community in Los Angeles. With the 5th largest Italian-American population of the United States residing in San Pedro, LILAA is hoping to turn the local piazza to a center for Italian cultural events and authentic Italian businesses to flourish. Donated amounts will benefit LILAA scholarship fund to support local high school and college students further their education. Fondazione Italia: Fondazione Italia is a California 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1998 for the purpose of promoting the teaching of the Italian language and culture across Southern California. Our main activities include supporting the creation and/or growth of Italian programs in K-12 schools, offering extracurricular Italian language classes for children and classes for adults and more.
