Hearts Against Hunger 5K

Join us for the Hearts Against Hunger 5K Fundraiser - Whether In Person or Virtually
Experience the picturesque streets of Belle Isle, nestled in the heart of Central Florida, as we come together to address the urgent needs of children and families throughout Greater Orlando. This year, we're offering both in-person and virtual options, so you can participate from anywhere in the world. Whether you walk, stroll, or run, your efforts will contribute to reaching our $50,000 fundraising goal.

When you register for the Hearts Against Hunger 5K, your $35 entry donation per adult provides two full weeks of groceries for a local family in need. Children aged 12 and under can join for a $15 entry donation, which ensures a month's worth of food for one child. Your participation makes you an advocate against food insecurity for children.

As a token of our appreciation, those who donate $35 will receive a complimentary event t-shirt on the day of the event (while supplies last). Our collective goal for this event is $50,000, and with your support, we can make it happen, one step at a time.

If you can't make it in person, don't worry! You can still be a part of the action with our Virtual 5K – a race for everyone, everywhere. Gather your friends, family, and even your pets to run, walk, bike, skate, roll, or stroll alongside us. 

The beauty of a virtual race is that it allows everyone across the nation to participate at any time, all while supporting and spreading the message of Hunger Awareness 5K NATIONWIDE. Share your experiences using #HungerAwareness5K and tag us @ServantsHeartMn.
Servant’s Heart Ministry is a local non-profit organization that goes the extra mile to deliver hundreds of meals to families with children and elderly individuals who struggle to afford groceries and basic essentials. Through these deliveries, we build meaningful relationships and offer hope during challenging times. In the past year, SHM has provided weekly groceries to over 250 families, but the need continues to grow. Put on your running shoes and help us nourish the most vulnerable in Central Florida.

3. Create a name for your fundraising goal (e.g., "Jen's 5k Supporters," "Fred's Friends," "Costco Cares").
4. Set your desired fundraising goal for the 5K.
5. Create a custom URL for your fundraiser.
6. Personalize it with a picture or your company logo.
7. Share your fundraiser on social media, and don't forget to tag #HungerAwareness5K @ServantsHeartMn.

7. Participating in a 5K supports a good cause and provides you with a goal and a deadline. You can train at your own pace and in the location that suits you best. With simple and enjoyable training plans, preparing for a run/walk is both healthy and memorable.
