It's time to glide with Pride alongside Friendship Miles, Gazelle Sports, and HOKA! Circle June 15 on your calendar and set your alarm because GLIDE WITH PRIDE is about to shake up your morning routine! Join us at 8:30 am at Gazelle Sports in downtown Grand Rapids.

 

Whether you're a walker, a runner, or just love to take it easy, this event is calling your name. We've got routes for every pace - 1.5 mile walk, 1 mile run, 3 mile run, or if you're feeling ambitious, a 6 mile run through downtown.

 

But here's the thing - why do we need to celebrate Pride? Well, let us tell you. The queer community deserves a spotlight because everyone deserves to live authentically and without fear. Pride isn't just about colorful parades and fabulous events (although those are pretty great), it's about visibility, acceptance, and honoring the struggles and triumphs of LGBTQ+ individuals. And guess what? The fun doesn't stop there!

 

After we've crushed our miles, let's keep the good times rolling at Gazelle Sports downtown location over coffee, treats, and Pride Celebrations. Because it's not just about the distance, it's about celebrating Pride and the power of friendship. So, what do you say? Let's make every step count and spread love one mile at a time!

 

Run of show:
8:30 am: Meet and greet
8:45 am: Community Learning Time
9:00 am: Get some miles in together! HOKA will have their Skyward X, Mach 6, and Arahi 7 on hand to test drive.
Afterward: Mix and mingle with treats from Rise Authentic Baking Co and Good Judy's Juice, and more!
