Brescia Art Marathon

Brescia Marathon is a very well-organised race with beautiful surroundings (the Adriatic Sea and some spectacular hills), and a route that takes you to the climbs north - filled with museums, the Roman Forum, Broletto Palace and the majestic Cathedral Square. This year’s event (2024) was unfortunately with torrential rain and strong gust winds. So much so that the km mark signs and some metal barriers were blown away. Still, though, the race organisers; volunteers and local municipality police, put their heart and soul to make this event with such unprecedented weather conditions, a safe event. It’s worth running it and I’d highly recommend it.
