Belinder Elementary Brave Run

The Brave Run is a family friendly 5K and Fun Run on October 19th, 2019.  Funds raised go to the Belinder PTA General Fund, supporting school initiatives and resources. 

The 5K chip-timed course begins and ends at Belinder Elementary, going through Prairie Village. Runners and walkers at all levels and ages are encouraged to participate. Strollers are allowed on the course and can start at the back of the race behind the runners.  There will be a water station on the course.

For those who want a shorter challenge, the Fun Run is a 1 mile run, finishing under the race archway.  New this year, there is a "Sleep In" category, aimed at anyone who may not be able to make the race, but would like to contribute to raise funds for this event.

5K awards will be given to: Top Overall Male and Female, & to First, Second and Third place males and females in each age group:

New this year: 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-19,  & 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up

Participants in both events will receive a short sleeved t-shirt. Only those racers registered by Thursday, September 26th will be guaranteed a shirt in their size.

Food and drinks will be available after the race.

Packet Pick-Up will be at Belinder Elementary School (7230 Belinder Avenue) on: 
Friday, October 18th from 7 to 8 am; 3 - 4 pm
Race morning, Saturday October 19th, from 7:15 to 7:45 am
