Soweto Marathon

Guys just cancel this event before you kill the runners. SOWETO marathon 2023 Organizers behavior is pathetic and don't have empathy. Saturday collection times closes at 17h00, do you only cater for GP people and surrounding? Where is my T-shirt? do you have any idea how much this signature T-Shirt means to a runner? My race number issued was incorrect was given 2858 instead 2857, So I run without trace, was just for an experience for me, okay will taker 50% blame for not double checking. Okay, tell me why didn't you have snacks along the way?? Do you honestly expect a 42km runner to pass half way mark without refuel. a big thank you to Fat Cats team for providing water melon and some bananas. Not even one table with suits, that's pathetic, one day you will kill runners. Lastly, 42km later you are expected to deal with stair case to get your medal. see this is what I mean, Your common goal is to kill some of the runner. Complements to the people of SOWETO and the bus drivers, these guys bring the vibe to the race, please go ask others how they do it, Kaapsehoop organizers wont mind to share. I went for 42km on the 4th and wanted back to back, but your shuttered that dream My advice cancel for a year or two just to regroup, otherwise you will lose audience

Half way of 42km there was no sweets or snacks to refuel. enough water wholes without snacks. the route is 100% fun

It is located in a best settlement ever in Africa, further more the route is exceptionall and judging by how I saw it three years back its equipt for athletes
