The Rio Vista Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day walk/run aimed at supporting local athletic teams by donating 100% of net proceeds to the High School Cross Country team and other supportive teams. Participants who register early receive a t-shirt. This event not only fosters community spirit but also contributes significantly, as previous donations have provided Garmin GPS watches for the school team. It's an excellent way to start Thanksgiving with exercise, making the holiday feast guilt-free and heartwarming through generous donations. Note that there are no refunds or exchanges.
