Rim to Rim Royal Gorge Races: 5K Road Run, Trail 8 Mile, Trail Half Marathon

Join us for our 13th event on Saturday, October 7th. New this year, we will host a one-day event. We will
have our 13th annual 5K, 2nd annual 8-mile trail race, and our inaugural half marathon TRAIL RACE! Our
half marathon course is now a trail race that will connect to our 8-mile course. We received such great
feedback on our 8-mile trail run last year, that we decided to expand on that and offer something spectacular
to our half-marathon runners. All three races offer the unique experience of running over the famed Royal
Gorge Bridge, America’s highest suspension bridge. These races will leave you breathless for more than
one reason. The views throughout the foothills surrounding the Bridge are stunning. Often, we see
runners forgetting about their best PR, stopping along the course and taking photos of the scenery
surrounding them. It is quite the experience. Moreover, this race event supports a special cause. All
proceeds from the event go to Starpoint, a local nonprofit organization that offers essential services to two
vulnerable populations, children and their families, and adults with cognitive and physical challenges.

Your registration includes free entrance into the historic Royal Gorge Bridge & Park (on race day). Family members will receive a $10 discount. After the race, we want you to slow down, relax, and take in the unique views that our region has to offer.

All registered runners will receive a 50% discount for the Royal Gorge Route Railroad (good for race
weekend only).

There is a FREE KIDS’ race. All kiddos running the free race will receive a special coupon for the Royal
Gorge Dinosaur Experience (good for one year).

The 5K is stroller friendly. All races are dog friendly, but only if your dog is friendly.

****PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR 10K ROUTE IS DISCONTINUED AND WILL BE RESERVED
AS AN ALTERNATE ROUTE IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT THERE IS INCLEMENT
WEATHER AND THE TRAILS ARE UNRUNNABLE. SHOULD THIS BE THE CASE, WE
WILL EXTEND THE ROUTE TO 8 MILES (DIRT ROAD) AND ALL 8-MILE REGISTRANTS
AND HALF-MARATHON TRAIL RUNNERS CAN RUN THIS ROUTE INSTEAD.

Over It SOCO Race Series - Southern Colorado's Premier Race Series

Trail runners of all ages and abilities will enjoy this exciting new series, which features a beautiful half marathon in Beulah, CO on September 23rd and either an 8-mile trail run or trail half marathon throughout the foothills surrounding the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park on October 7. Register for the Series, to be held in the fall, and earn your spot as one of the 'Over It-Achievers'! We think you'll love these incredible courses, which feature views of Southern Colorado's most scenic and iconic vistas.
Series participants will receive a two-piece medal and a commemorative shirt from both the Beulah Challenge and the Rim to Rim Royal Gorge Race!

Colorado Springs Packet Pickup:  Tuesday, October 3rd from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Jack Quinn's Run Club (upstairs).

Early Packet Pickup: Friday, October 6th at Centennial Park under the Rotary Pavilion near the playground area.  221 Griffin Avenue  Canon City, CO 81212 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
