Love Fund for Children Family Fun Run/Walk/Ride - MO

We're thrilled to announce that the Love Fund for Children's 3rd Annual Family Fun Run presented by Worlds of Fun is back!
7:00 am Registration/Packet Up
8:00 am Fun Run begins

The Family Fun Run encourages participants of all ages and abilities to walk, run, or ride (wheelchairs, strollers, wagons) to help us bridge the divide in youth services. Our certified 5K course runs through Worlds of Fun for the ultimate behind-the-scenes look at our hometown amusement park and a chance to enjoy select rides after the race.

Participants are encouraged to dress in their Superhero costumes because when you run (or walk, or ride) with the Love Fund, you are a child's hero! Together we can help our community by fulfilling the unique, unmet needs of children across Kansas City. Participants will enjoy music, games, and early access to rides as part of the festivities. Family Fun Run Cancellation/Weather Policy

The Love Fund Family Fun Run will proceed rain or shine. This time of year the weather is iffy, but we will only cancel if our venue requires cancellation, or if there is lightning present within the window of 7:45 am-8:30 am. We may delay if needed but are only able to do so until 8:30 am. In case of inclement weather after the start of the race, we will coordinate with course monitors and security personnel to get participants to safety. 

We have a FOX4 Meteorologist on speed dial to get the latest weather details. We will do our best to send an email the morning of the race if we know the status of a cancellation or delay.  

If you are unable to participate in the event, please reach out [email protected] to coordinate pick up of your t-shirt and other giveaways during business hours.  

Please note: There is a no refund policy as stated on the registration site, but know that all proceeds will directly allow the Love Fund to serve thousands of children this year. Thank you for being a HERO for KC kids!
