LIttle Italy

The Clinton Optimist Little Italy 5K Run/Fitness Walk and 1 Mile Run and Walk will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023. Strollers are welcome. Proceeds will benefit the South Vermillion Middle School Dance Team and Clinton Breakfast Optimist Club youth activities.

Registration for all events will be from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM with the 1-mile starting at 8:10 AM and the 5K event starting at 8:30 AM. Registration by mail must be received by Monday, August 21, 2023 to guarantee a T-shirt. Individual and business sponsors for the event are also available.

    Both registration and the start of the events will be in the east parking lot at South Vermillion High School. The 5K course includes a loop with one hill, splits at each mile and one water station and the 1-mile has one loop and a flat course. There will be awards presented in different age groups. The registration fee for the 5K Run/Walk is $20 ($25 with t-shirt) and the registration fee for the Mile Run/Walk is $15 ($20 with t-shirt).
