Isle of Wight Turkey Trot - Waddle & 5k

Throw on your sneakers and get outside to enjoy the fresh air and burn off some calories from the Thanksgiving holiday!  

Join us on Saturday, November 30th, as we come together to run or waddle our way into the holiday season!  We hope you will sign up to participate and will invite a friend or neighbor to join us too! Still have family in town from Thanksgiving, bring them!! This is a family friendly race that is open to the entire community -  both members & non-members of the club are welcome!

This race is hosted by the Isle of Wight Country Club - a small community club whose members live on or nearby to Isle of Wight. It serves as a  major fundraiser for 2024 and the proceeds will support the upkeep of the club, the addition of new programs and our outreach within the community. Your participation & support is greatly appreciated and we can't wait to come together as a community to kick off the holidays together!

Pricing:  Online registration is available until midnight the night prior to race day. Onsite registration will also be available on race day. Early Bird pricing is $35.00 per person for all racers over the age of 5. There is a family bundle discount that reduces the cost by $5 per participant if four people are registered at the same time.

Race Day Details -   Onsite registration, bib pickup and pre-race festivities kick off at 9am. Racers/Walkers will start assembling for line up around 9:30/9:45 and the race will begin promptly at 10am. Food & fun will immediately follow the completion of the race. The course is stroller friendly and there is no charge for children being pushed in a stroller. Walking children age 5+ should be registered as a participant. While we love our furry friends, however we are unable to allow dogs (even those on a leash) to participate in the race. This is a timed event and awards will be given. Medals will be provided for the top three finishers in each age bracket as well as the top three male & female overall finishers. Costumes are welcome and encouraged! Dress up as a turkey, elf or santa - your choice if you want to rock the Thanksgiving or Christmas theme!
