Healthy Harvest 5K - Gardner

The 2024 Heywood Healthy Harvest 5k is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024 - Presented by the Heywood Wellness Committee! We invite you to join us!

Choose a timed run, brisk walk or to enjoy a 30 minute facilitated Yoga session. 

Proceeds: This year's proceeds will be earmarked for the benefit of the Heywood Healthcare Caring for Colleagues and Employee Wellness Programs!

Our healthcare teams are the bedrock of compassionate care and unwavering dedication. They put their heart and soul into every patient they see, every shift they work, and every challenge they face. Yet, behind their incredible resilience, there lies a pressing need for support that often goes unnoticed and unmentioned: their mental health and wellness. Their well-being is crucial not only for their own health but also for the quality of care they provide to our community. Supporting their wellness means ensuring they have the strength, focus, and resilience to continue their vital work with the compassion and expertise we rely on.

AWARDS: The top male & female winning race participants will be recognized. An award will also be presented for Most Spirited Team! To start or to join a team please remember to follow the prompt at the bottom of your registration page.

Event Timeline:

Registration will open by 7:45amKickoff Ceremony at 9:00amFeet Hit Pavement immediately following the ceremony!Timed runner awards/recognition at 10:00amCommunity Health Fair 8am-11am

Adult rate: $25. 

Youth registration offers reduced fees: Ages 7-18 yrs are $15 & children 6 and under are free! (Details will appear within the link as you complete the registration) 

All registered participants will receive a 2024 Healthy Harvest 5K gift upon registration check-in. Everyone is encouraged to wear past HH5K shirts to show your past support!Those who submit a photo wearing any previous HH5k shirt will be entered to win a prize!Photos may be used on our Facebook page &/or on our website (by submitting photos you agree to promotional use).

ROUTE: Come crush or stroll our 3.1 mile family-friendly scenic course beginning and ending at Heywood Hospital.
