GVCC Classic Road Race

2024 GVCC Classic Road Race

Join us on August 24th, 2024 for the inaugural GVCC Classic Road Race where you'll traverse some of the most scenic land New York State has to offer.  Staging and the post-race party is hosted at the foot of Bristol Mountain Ski Resort, 5662 NY-64, Canandaigua, NY 14424, please join us for the race and stay for the atmosphere. We plan to have food trucks and a band so plan on hanging out after the race!

2024 Highlander Tour: With amazing roads, gravel/dirt, and single-track options available, there’s something for everyone.  Course options will range in length from 30 to 110 miles, and degrees of difficulty from family friendly ride to incredible climbing exceeding 10,000'! For sure the Highlander will treat the rider to some of the finest and most exhilarating riding in North America. Come celebrate with us as we bring back the passion of cycling’s heart!

Race Fees

Register early to enjoy a budget-friendly rate of $50, registering early helps us to put on the best event possible.  We understand that sometimes you can't commit to a race several months early and we respect that.  Late registration is absolutely an option, but it's a premium feature.  Help us make this a memorable event by registering early!

Race Details

The race is held under USAC permit and follows all applicable USAC rules.  We reserve the right to combine or split fields depending on registration numbers.  Ideally we get enough riders registered so each category can have their own race, but we will combine the Masters fields, the 3/4 fields, and the women's fields if required.  Register early to ensure your field gets their own race!  The course is a challenging hilly circuit of the beautiful finger lakes region.

Men's Pro/1/2 Course

The men's Pro/1/2 race will cover 74 miles with 6,700 ft. of climbing covered over 3 circuits of the main loop. Strava Route

Men's 3/4, Men's Masters, and Women's P/1/2/3 Course

This course covers 51 miles with 4,700 ft. of climbing covered over 2 circuits of the main loop. Strava Route

This course covers 29 miles with 2,800 ft. of climbing covered over 1 circuit of the main loop. Strava Route
