Autumn March for ALS

The "March" originated with Jerry Edmundson to support the Dyersburg/Dyer County Union Mission's youth programs. After the Mission stopped sponsoring the event, Sarah Alley took over to raise ALS awareness using the same courses. Held annually in Dyersburg on the third Saturday of October, it is one of the longest-running endurance events in West Tennessee. Noteworthy past participants include Lance Winders, Charles Reagan, David Raines, Maggie Silvers, and Konnor Kessler, each holding records in various categories. Regardless of finishing times, all participants contribute to meaningful causes while striving for personal bests.
