Andrew Schmeer Foundation Lightin It Up with Love 5K

THE ANDREW SCHMEER FOUNDATION HONORS THE MEMORY OF ANDREW SCHMEER WHO, ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2014, WAS TRAGICALLY KILLED IN A CAR ACCIDENT. FUNDS RAISED HELP TO RECOGNIZE WELL-ROUNDED STUDENTS ALONG THE TREASURE COAST BY PROVIDING COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THOSE IN NEED. WE ALSO RAISE FUNDS FOR ANIMAL RESCUES AS WELL AS CHILDREN’S CHARITIES. PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WILL BE DONATED TO THE FELIX FAMILY.

Event shirts will be included for all registrants registered by April 6. No guarantee shirts will be available for ones who register after April 7th.

Event details and schedule

           Kickin' It Up for Andrew is going to have a splash of color AGAIN this year! Thus year we are doing a 5K Color Run to show love to Jeremy and Jason Felix during this difficult time. We have joined efforts with the Manatee Academy Girl Power to make this a fun event for all. The run will take place Friday April 19, 2024 with registration beginning at 5:00 pm at Manatee Academy K-8 school. After the run we will be serving pizza and drinks to all participants. There will also be a candle light walk after the pizza dinner for all who want to stay and honor the family.
     Exercise helps boost the health of our bodies as well as our mental state. We do not care if you walk, jog, or run....all we want is for you to get out and enjoy yourself. Please join in with your family and friends and let’s get running to not only feel better but to have fun too! Soooooo....... let's all get out of the house and get some fresh air! Get with your friends and family to make this a group effort. We would love for you to join our families at 5:00 and run the course with us.
