HOW TO RUN WITH US?
STEP #1: SIGN UP! - Register online early! We will be selling out and selling a capped number of runners this year.
STEP #2: PICK UP! - Pick up your runner’s packet on Saturday, October 26th: 9am - 1pm
STEP #3: SHOW UP! - Show up on Sunday, October 27th to run or walk with us in your run gear, Halloween costume, or your Pumpkin Run t-shirt!

AGE REQUIREMENTS:
10K AGES:
Children 6 years and up may run/walk the 10K as paid participants. All children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult for the entire duration of the race for safety. All participants need a bib/registration to enter the 10K and run the route. Children 5 years and younger are free to run/walk or be pushed in strollers for free. There is no registration needed for children 0 to 5 years.
5K AGES:
Children 6 years and up may run/walk the 5K as paid participants. All children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult for the entire duration of the race for safety. All participants need a bib/registration to enter the 5K and run the route. Children 5 years and younger are free to run/walk or be pushed in strollers for free. There is no registration needed for children 0 to 5 years.
1K AGES:
Our 1K Kids race begins with a fun warm up of exercises and quick dances led by our fun Master of Ceremonies before this race begins. A 1K is 0.62 miles. Parents/Guardians may run behind their runner during the run. *All parents and runners must wait behind the barricades until it is their assigned group time.

The Kiddie Fun Run is back! Our Kiddie Fun Run begins with a fun warm up of exercises and quick dances led by our fun Master of Ceremonies before the race begins. This route will be a 1/2 K (roughly a quarter mile). Parents/Guardians may run behind their runner during the run. *All parents and runners must wait behind the barricades until it is their assigned group time.
Group #1: Age 4Group #2: Age 5PLEASE NOTE: Age divisions for the 1K and Kiddie Fun Run are subject to change depending on registration participation. For the safety of the children, some divisions may be divided up into smaller groups. Updated age divisions are subject to change. Final determination will be made by race director and posted on our social media pages 72 hours before the race.

Your race bib is chipped for timing and must be pinned to the FRONT of your shirt. We cannot replace any bibs forgotten at home and everyone must have a bib to participate in the Pumpkin Run.This event is chip timed which means your race time begins when you cross the start line and ends when you cross the finish line. For this reason, you do not need to crowd the starting line trying to be the first person to take off.Be sure to run across the timing mat under the inflated arch to end your official time.Remember to wear your bibs on the FRONT of your shirt when you run so we can see it when you run and tag us on Instagram!RUN ROUTES:
10K ROUTE:
Our 10K route is two loops of our 5K route. You get to see our beautiful Alhambra community twice. How lucky are you? Upon making the 1st loop around and beginning the 2nd loop, DO NOT RUN OVER THE TIMING MAT. Running over it will stop your time and we want to make sure your run time counts. Make sure you enter the barricaded lane to the right of the inflatable archway and keep running.
5K ROUTE:
Our 5K route begins on Main Street facing west. Runners travel west on Main Street to 6th Street and turn right and loop back on Main Street facing east. When runners hit Garfield, they will turn left onto Garfield traveling north as they pass the Renaissance Theater corner.
Runners then loop right and travel back to Main Street as they pass a DJ on the Renaissance Theater corner by Applebee’s and turn left onto Main Street and travel east down to El Molino Ave and then make a U-turn back around to face west on Main Street.
Runners travel west back to Garfield Ave. and turn left and travel south on Garfield Ave. to Bay State and then make a U-turn back around to face north on Garfield Ave. When runners hit Main Street, they will turn left onto Main Street traveling west to the FINISH LINE!
1K ROUTE:
The 1K course features a turnaround loop easy for the kids to follow and a police bike will be guiding the runners on the loop. The race begins on Main Street at our start line (cross street: 2nd Street) facing east Alhambra. The race begins and runners make a U-Turn at 5th Street and runners turn back around on Main Street facing west and ending at the finish line on 2nd Street.
KIDDIE FUN RUN ROUTE:

PARKING:Our runners may park in any city parking lot or available street parking. Parking lots located on 1st Street north and south of Main Street. Please view the course map and park outside of the route. Use the walk as a pre race warm up exercise.
Pay attention to all posted signs. Parking is at your own risk and protects any valuables you leave in your car.If you live locally, use Uber or Lyft to catch a ride and avoid the parking hassle all together.Carpool...less cars = more parking for othersBe courteous to the residents and avoid loud music and talking in the early arrival hours.Do NOT block residential driveways.Do NOT park in the local business parking lots. We are not responsible for any parking tickets or towing.Do NOT leave any trash behind (even if it is not yours).REFUND POLICY:
All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
You may not alter, reproduce, give or sell your number to another individual – doing so will result in your disqualification as well as the participant who uses your race number. The entry fee for this year's event will not transfer to next year's event, no exceptions. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected business or family emergency, pregnancy, Act of God, etc. There are no exceptions. Any inquiry regarding this policy will be directed back to this page. There is no rain check date, events will be held rain or shine.
LIABILITY:
Neither party shall be held liable or responsible to the other party nor be deemed to have defaulted under or breached this Agreement for failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any obligation under this Agreement when such failure or delay is caused by or results from causes beyond the reasonable control of the affected party, including but not limited to fire, floods, embargoes, war, acts of war, insurrections, riots, strikes, lockouts or other labor disturbances, or acts of God; provided, however, that the party so affected shall use reasonable commercial efforts to avoid or remove such causes of nonperformance, and shall continue performance hereunder with reasonable dispatch whenever such causes are removed. Either party shall provide the other party with prompt written notice of any delay or failure to perform that occurs by reason of force majeure.
No Refunds or Exchanges for Event Restrictions or Lost or Stolen Tickets:
Before purchasing your registration, it is your responsibility to carefully review all aspects of the Event, dates, pricing, charges, and seat selection. Except as specifically stated in the paragraph titled “Canceled or Rescheduled Events,” We will NOT issue any refunds or exchanges because You failed to review this information and We will not issue any refunds for any lost, stolen, destroyed, or damaged tickets, or as under any other circumstances except in the limited cases explicitly described in this Agreement.
Registration Delivery:
Your registration confirmation will be delivered to you via email. Please make sure to save and keep this email for your packet pick-up. Make sure to check your email spam folders for delivery.
Transfer:
If an Organizer permits it, Tickets purchased by You may be transferred to other parties. If you are purchasing tickets for Yourself and on behalf of other parties, You, as the primary ticket holder, may resell or transfer these tickets to the other parties. When arriving at an event, there will only be one entry provided per ticket. If there are multiple parties attempting to enter using the same ticket, only the first party that arrived with the ticket will be admitted. It is Your sole responsibility to comply with any applicable federal, state, or local laws that relate to the resale, transfer, or other disposition of tickets. You are solely responsible, as well, for ensuring that any transferees of Your tickets are eligible to attend the Event and comply with any applicable restrictions for the Event (e.g., age restrictions). Neither this Agreement nor the TOS is intended to create any third-party beneficiary rights for transferees of tickets, and You agree to indemnify, defend and hold JAYVEE EMPIRE, INC, its affiliates, and its and their employees and customers harmless from and against any and all claims, suits, complaints, actions, demands, proceedings, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses incurred, suffered, brought, claimed, made or alleged by or on behalf of any transferees of tickets, as well as any and all attorneys’ fees and other costs or expenses incurred by JAYVEE EMPIRE, INC. or any of the other indemnified parties in connection therewith. For tickets for Events sold by JAYVEE EMPIRE, INC., tickets purchased from any party other than JAYVEE EMPIRE, INC., carry a great risk of being fraudulent.
Media:
Participant (and parents) hereby irrevocably and absolutely grant permission to the Releasees to film, videotape and record gratis the performance of the above named participant in the Event and subsequently to telecast, sell, distribute and otherwise utilize the same in whatever manner Releasees shall deem appropriate. Such permission shall include granting the unlimited and irrevocable right to Releasees, without compensation of any kind to participant, to use, reproduce or broadcast, participants name, nickname, image, likeness, voice, photograph, signature facsimile, and biographical information in connection with the Event without compensation of any kind to participant. Participant acknowledges that Releasees and their representatives shall have the unlimited right throughout the world to copyright, use, reuse, publish, republish, broadcast and otherwise distribute depictions of or information about participant and all or any portion of the Event in which may appear on any and all radio, network, cable and local television programs and in any print materials and in any other format or media (including electronic media) now known or hereinafter devised in perpetuity and without compensation to me. In consideration and in return for being allowed to participate in the Event, participant releases and agree not to sue the Releasees from all present and future claims regarding participants participation in the Events that may be made by participant, family, estate heirs, or assigns.
There is no rain check date. The event will be held rain or shine.
