Informacje o evencie
Experience a thrilling race from the scenic Little Belt mountains in Lewis & Clark National Forest to the charming town of Historic Harlowton MT. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Crazy Mountains along the way and celebrate your finish with a complimentary hand-crafted pint from local Gally's Brewing Company. The race route is entirely on compacted gravel, providing a leg-saving run with 1800 feet of net decline. The gravel surface is shoe-friendly and treated with calcium chloride for a majority of the course. This race serves as a fundraiser for AIDSPIRIT USA, a non-profit organization that supports orphaned, abandoned, or abused children in Uganda by providing them with a safe home, food, clothing, medicine, and education. All funds raised go directly to helping these children.
Participants have the chance to win a roundtrip vacation flight to Rome, Paris, or Cancun through a random drawing based on bib numbers. The Awards ceremony will honor the top finishers in each category, with the Vacation Drawing taking place following the awards. It is mandatory to be present to claim the prize.
For convenience, there will be a pre-race shuttle to the start and a gear drop service to transport belongings to the finish line. Participants are encouraged to take the shuttle, but limited parking is available at the start. Nearby camping and lodging options include Jellison Place campground and Chief Joseph Park for developed sites with hookups close to the finish line.
Water and aid stations will be strategically placed along the course to ensure participants stay hydrated and fueled throughout the race. Don't miss this opportunity to challenge yourself in a beautiful setting while supporting a great cause.
