89er 5K

The 89er Battalion of the Guthrie High School JROTC hosts an annual endurance event aimed at competitive runners, recreational walkers, and families. It is a community fundraiser supporting educational and leadership opportunities for JROTC students, with a portion of proceeds benefitting Veteran organizations. The event takes place in Downtown Guthrie, starting at Honor Park. Participants have access to an accredited course, with T-shirts for early registrants and medals for early finishers. Trophies are awarded to top runners in specific age categories. The event is held alongside Guthrie’s annual celebration that features a parade, carnival, and more activities.
