Maine Running Hall of Fame 5K In Memory of Julius Marzul

The event pays tribute to Julius Marzul, a World War II veteran and dedicated runner, raising donations for the Maine Running Hall of Fame. The run commemorates Marzul's legacy as he tragically passed near the finish line of the Maine Half Marathon in 2004. Participants have opportunities to compete for cash prizes, with awards for overall, age group, and team categories. The course follows a scenic Back Cove loop. Post-race, participants can enjoy a complimentary pizza buffet. No refunds are issued, and contingency plans include shifting to a virtual event for unforeseen circumstances.
