Candace’s Cause 5K

Beautiful Cherokee Park in Louisville hosts the "Candace's Cause 5K," where participants can walk or run to support a noble organization dedicated to finding a cure for DIPG, a rare pediatric brain tumor affecting many children in the region. The event is organized to raise awareness for this cause and features a scenic route with landmarks, starting and finishing at the water fountain near Baringer Hill Path. Registration is $25, and awards are given to the top three male and female finishers. A hydration station is available on the route.
