Yakima Mile

The Yakima Mile takes participants through a gradual downhill stretch in Yakima, concluding near the historic Larson Building. Open to all, from children and families to elite runners and veterans, it’s a chance to record personal bests or simply enjoy the experience. Elite runners compete for enticing cash prizes, with a total purse exceeding $60,000. Attendees can join various challenges and races alongside community bonding and advocacy. Sponsored by Home2 Suites and Tru by Hilton, the event draws local and national attention, also supporting YWCA's mission against domestic violence. Youth registration is free, with varying fees for adults and seniors.
