Wilderness Oak PTA Turkey Trot 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run

REGISTRATION IS ONLY AVAILABLE ONLINE. THERE IS NO PAPER OPTION THIS YEAR.

The 3rd Annual Wilderness Oak Turkey Trot 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run will be Saturday, November 12 at 8 am. It is open to all ages and abilities - strollers are welcome! This will be a community event, so please feel free to invite friends and family. All registrants receive a T-shirt and medal and there will be an award for the best costume! We are no longer allowed to hold a raffle, but sponsors will be doing giveaways at their tables. We appreciate all contributions to offset our costs.

The run will start at the school's back gate to Panther Springs Park and continue on a beautiful, winding path that loops around and ends at the finish line. There will be refreshments and music after the race. The 5K will begin promptly at 8 am. The One-mile run will begin at 8:10 am.

Packets can be picked up Friday, Nov. 11 from 7-9:30 am Nov. 12 at the race from 7-7:45.

Parking will be in the two top lots of the school, with overflow parking across the street. Day-of registration will be available. Children 4 and under are free and do not receive a t-shirt. The race will not be timed. Race is rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges. All proceeds benefit Wilderness Oak PTA, which helps fund all PTA programs including Field Day, Bike Rodeo, playground equipment and improvements, GLOW party, school gardens, library guest authors, CORE celebrations, Reflections, and much more! Sorry, but no dogs allowed. T-shirts are only guaranteed to those registered by Oct. 25.
