Tour of Rainy Mountain

Rainy Mountain, located near Gotebo, Oklahoma, is a special place known to the Kiowa people for centuries. The Kiowa once camped at this location for many years and gathered here for the traditional Sun Dance ritual during the summer. Despite the US Government outlawing the ritual in 1887, the Kiowa Tribe continues to share stories about this significant site. Join us for a bike ride to Rainy Mountain, starting from downtown Hobart and offering four different distances with rest stops along the way. Registrants will receive a free event T-shirt, and shuttle service back to Hobart will be available for those who choose not to bike back.
