Well.. if I could give this race/event 6 starts - they whould have gotten them all! This race is some of my best moment in life the last three years. I also have to say it took me 3 years to finish it! :) It is the nicest and most spectacular sceneray you could find in Norway when it comes to ultra running. In 2017 I stopped at 110 km.. in 2018 116 km.. (bad planning), but this year after 36 hours I crawled into Svolvær with the biggest smile on earth. I am not a good runner, so with some planning and preparation everybody can do this. It is all about mindset, eating and not starting in Kikefjord in shorts.. (yes.. you need that extra warm clothes on 500 gram.. ) What also happened in this race is that you get new friends. That is why I am on the startline for the fourth time next year! I you want some experience transfer for the race - please contact me. [email protected] here is a taste of the race: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XR0Rr-I5_w0&t=101s

Prep: Run 40+ a week the 5-6 months before.. 10+10+... Do parts of the running off track.. I mean really off track.. Take enough clothes with you. You will get food but I support it with some bars and some gels, (not 4 kg..) Fly to Evenes and take the bus to Svolvær. Might be better prizes. Contact me on [email protected] if you have questions. :):)

Great route, well organized, amazing crew and unreal scenery. The route offers stunning views. I`ve done 24km (2017), 50 miles (2018), and got a DNF on the 100 miles in 2019. Looking forward to try again next year!

Hope to go the full distance in 2020!
