Tallinn Marathon Virtual Run
About the event
Estonia’s biggest virtual sports event includes the popular "marathon combo," designed for both running enthusiasts and amateur sportspersons. The full marathon distance (42.2 km) can be completed throughout September, either by running or walking in smaller parts until reaching the required kilometers.
How does it work?
Register and complete the distance following the rules at your own pace and chosen route during September. After finishing, upload a confirmation of your run to the virtual environment on the organizer's website.

Result Submission:
Results can be submitted from 1 September to 2 October 2025, 23:59.
Upload File: Submit a file (.fit, .gpx, .pwr, or .tcx) using the upload option near your name on the participant list. Manual Entry: Enter details manually (start time, distance, end time) and, if possible, upload a photo of your results for verification.
Results can be updated until 2 October 2025 at 23:59.

Course highlights
The combined distance of 42,2K does not have to be completed at once. The combo marathon distance of 42,2K can be completed in parts. For example: 10 x 4,22 km; 2 x 21,1 km; 10 km + 9 km + 8 km + 7 km + 8,2 km. Other combinations are also allowed. The shortest single distance is 4,2 km

Reviews
You get to choose your route, your race day, your race time, and (though I didn't go for this option) you can run in splits for those who can't complete the full distance in one go. And of course YOU GET A MEDAL 🏅🤩 I Love the Medal quality and design. Oh and it's damn heavy and I love that 🤩.
Running a Marathon, solo or race is a great way to test your limits and build on your endurance. Tallinna virtual marathon does exactly that.
This virtual race was fun. It is cool that I can participate in an Estonian race from here in Canada. If offered virtual again next year I would definitely participate again.
Virtual Combo run
It was very well organized. And very helpfull and quick answers on my questions. All the software/apps worked very well. So I really loved it. And I really hope to visit Tallinn next year. As a tourist and as a runner :-)
I liked the idea of splitting up the distance and make it more like a challenge instaed of 1 run.
