Swim to the Moon Open Water Swim Festival

Swim to the Moon is an open-water swimming event set in the scenic Hiland Chain of Lakes near Hell, Michigan. Swimmers traverse Southeast Michigan's beautiful waterways while supporting North Star Reach, a camp for children with serious and chronic medical conditions. Starting at various points at Patterson Lake at North Star Reach or Halfmoon Lake Beach, participants experience a journey through the heavily forested Pinckney Recreation Area. The event, which accommodates both individual athletes and teams, is sanctioned by USMS, with specific fee structures in place for participants and USMS members.
