About the event
The Very Scary Fun Run takes place at The Abbey in Townsend and offers participants a thrilling experience with unique swag such as a large glow stick, a chilling medal, comfy long sleeve t-shirts, and more. You can race, run, walk, or even zombie crawl your way to the finish line through a spooky course. Awards are presented in various categories based on gun time, following USATF regulations. Costumes are highly encouraged, adding to the eerie excitement with a contest judging the best Halloween outfits. Pets and wheeled items are not allowed on the course due to insurance stipulations.
