SeaDragon Splash

Dive into an exciting competition at the inaugural SeaDragon Splash, hosted at the El Dorado Municipal Pool in El Dorado, KS. This swim meet is a perfect opportunity for athletes like you to showcase your skills and contribute to a good cause, supporting the El Dorado Swim Club. The event features various age groups: 6-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-49, and 50+. Top six finishers in each age group, male and female, will be awarded ribbons, offering you the chance to earn recognition for your hard work and dedication.

Athletes may compete in up to five events. Ensure you're prepared to swim the length of the pool non-stop, as this competitive meet requires it. Lifeguards will be on duty, but participation is based on your ability. Spectators can cheer you on, though they must remain out of the water. Note that the kiddie pool and diving well are off-limits.

A clerk of course will signal when it's time for you to head to the staging area. Stay up to date with the schedule to ensure you're in position before the horn sounds. Events will not start ahead of schedule, but timing may adjust based on participation numbers.

Remember to bring your own swimwear, goggles, and swim caps—equipment will not be provided. Awards are distributed during the meet, so check with the timing team for updates. There will be a short delay after each event for award preparation.

Athlete-themed shirts are available for purchase: opt out during registration if you're not interested. Keep an eye on announcements as the event approaches—we’re continually updating information to make this inaugural meet a success.

- Warm-ups: 5:00-5:20pm for 14 and under, 5:25-5:45pm for 15 and older
- Meet Announcements: 5:50pm
